Mrs Cecilia TSUI CHUNG Bing Sum

Cecilia Tsui is a management consultant and an executive coach working with leaders to achieve positive, measurable impacts and results - for their organizations, their people and for themselves.  She has consulted and coached executives on leading, managing, communicating and implementing strategic and personal change. She conducts workshops for executives to enhance their leadership and ability to drive organizational excellence.

Cecilia Tsui is the Founder Chairperson and the Chartered Manager Promoter (formerly known as Chartered Manager Coach) of the Chartered Management Institute Hong Kong Branch.  She holds directorship for both profit and non-profit making organizations.  Cecilia has developed a number of Management and General Education courses as well as designed training programmes for corporations and small & medium enterprises.  Prior to that, she was with the Hang Seng School of Commerce (a non-profit making tertiary institution founded by the Hang Seng Bank Limited) (1983-1994) and the Open University of Hong Kong (1995-2000). Also, she has conducted part-time programmes for the Hong Kong Management Association.  She has extensive experience in teaching and course development in a wide range of subjects, including Management, Business Communication and General Education. In her early years, Mrs Cecilia Tsui worked for the Swire Duro Limited and the regional headquarters of Citicorp International Limited, where she was involved in merchant banking projects in the Asia Pacific region. Then, she was invited to join the Metallgesellschaft Services Inc. (a financial service arm of Metallgesellschaft A.G.).  She assisted the Company to establish its Far East representative office in Hong Kong before joining the teaching profession.  Cecilia has broad experience as a human development professional. 

Cecilia Tsui’s research interests lie in areas of Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources Development, Quality in Higher Education and Lifelong Learning.  She has presented papers at international conferences in various parts of the world and published papers in journals.  Cecilia has participated in an intensive training course - "Education and Training for Development" - at UNESCO's International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP), Paris, France.  She has also taken part in an intensive course - "The Rise of Networked University" organized by the Centre for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS), University of Twente, the Netherlands (in collaboration with UNESCO Chair of Higher Education Management) in Barcelona, Spain.

Cecilia Tsui is currently pursuing her doctoral study registered at the University of London, United Kingdom.  Cecilia has achieved academic and professional qualifications as follows:

Cecilia Tsui is married with 2 boys.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, flower arrangement and travel.
